Motorsport Games parent company Motorsport Network has promoted Oliver Ciesla as the group’s new chief operating officer. Ciesla will also serve as managing director of the “German entities,” according to a release.
In his expanded new role, Ciesla will lead Motorsport Network’s sales and marketing activities and integration and collaboration between divisions “to drive the next stage of monetization” of the Network’s ecosystem.
Prior to joining the company in October, Ciesla held leadership roles at WRC Promoter, The Sportsman Media Group (now Sportradar), and SPORTFIVE.
Motorsport Games, a racing game developer, publisher, and esports ecosystem provider, went public on the Nasdaq Global Select market on Jan. 13. The company raised gross proceeds of approximately $69M USD through its initial public offering (IPO) at a per-share price of $20.
